Proper Equestrian Gear
Equestrians are admired not only for their skills in riding but also in how elegant they look with the riding gears that they wear. But the real purpose of the riding gears that equestrians wear is not to make the riders look good but to provide them with the protection they need while training or competing. There are so many unexpected things that can happen to a rider while in training or competing and the risk of injury is higher when they do not wear the proper gear. One significant purpose of half chaps, for instance, is that it prevents the saddle from pinching the rider’s legs. With proper riding gear, an equestrian is assured that he will have the protection he needs at all times.
